Presentations must be made in the form of a PC presentation.
For the following sessions, slides should be made in English: Special Lecture, Invited Lecture, Symposia and Panel Discussion.

Presentation timekeeping
- Please be punctual and carefully follow the allotted time limits in order to secure enough time for
discussion.
- Illuminating yellow lamp indicates one minute remaining and red lamp
indicates the end of your
presentation.
- Once the presenter ahead of you goes on to a stage, please be seated in the standby seat.

Notes for preparing the slides - The resolution of the screen will be XGA (1024 × 768).
- Use only the standard fonts provided with Microsoft PowerPoint 2000,
2002, 2007, 2010, 2013
for Windows.
- The data made by the predecessor of Windows 98 may not be shown properly.
- The PC's prepared by the conference are equipped with Office 2013 on Windows 7.
- Virus scanning in advance is desirable.
- Prepare your presentation on USB memory or on CD-R. Do not use CD-RW, DVD, FD, MO.
- Be sure that your file is compatible with Windows operation system.

Notes for speakers with their own PC - Both Windows and Macintosh are acceptable.
- Remember to bring your own power adaptor and cables.
- Your computer must be equipped with a Dsub-15 pin video output.
(Thin PCs may not have standard output terminals.) Dsub-15 pin video output
- Please prepare your slides with Microsoft PowerPoint. Avoid using KeyNote.
- In case of that you cannot connect to the projector provided by the conference,
please bring a backup
CD-R or USB memory containing the presentation file in Windows Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Presenters are responsible for determining in advance whether their notebook
PC is capable of
outputting video to an external display. This is especially important your presentation contains
a large amount of data and movie content. The limit of data
capacity will be 500MB.
- All energy-conserving functions such as screen-savers, sleep/power-saving
modes should be
disabled on PCs to be used in the presentation.
- Your password also should be inactivated.
6.
Use of movie and sound system - The movie and sound should be made by Windows Media Player or Quick Time.
- Be sure to bring a backup for movie file as well.

PC Center
PC Center will be located at Foyer on 4th floor and open as follows.

It is recommended to come to the PC Center on Nov. 12 to avoid the congestion
in
the morning of Nov. 13.
- Speakers should preview their presentation and complete a run-through
of the connection and
operation of their equipment in the PC Center at least 60 minutes before their presentation.
After run-through, speakers with their own PC should submit their PC to the operator who stays
next to the speaker's podium.
- Our staff will be on hand in the PC Center to assist speakers.
- The speaker's podium is fitted with a PC. Speakers are asked to operate
during the presentation by
themselves.
- Presentation data will be discarded by the secretariat. All data installed on the conference supplied
PC's will be deleted.
For poster presenters
1.
Poster size
- The poster size is 90 cm wide by 180 cm high. Please prepare the title of your poster, author's
name and your affiliations in the indicated area (70 cm wide
× 20 cm high).
- Poster setup and removal will be conducted on the schedule below. Please
remove your poster
during the time indicated below. Posters not removed by 17:00 on Nov. 14 will be discarded by
the Secretariat.

Presentation and Discussion Time
- Please be waited at the session venue at least 10 min. before your presentation, with the presenter
ribbon on your chest.
- Presentation time will be 3min. and discussion time will be 2 min. Please be punctual
and carefully follow the allotted time limits. The session will
be conducted by moderator.

Best Poster Awards
- The awards will be given to the best poster presentations. The recipients
will be announced at
Get-together from 19:10 on Nov. 13. The authors of award-winning
posters will be requested to be
present at the party.
